Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Mid = $37.63

Max = $45.16

Summary

The Provider Coding Liaison provides overall compliance auditing and monitoring functions of physician billing, coding, and documentation serves as a liaison for regulatory and billing purposes with the Onvista Health Medical Staff, the Professional Corporation staff, Registration, Billing and Health Information Staff; abstracts and assigns ICD diagnosis/procedure codes to inpatient, outpatient, and emergency visit records as supported by provider documentation in the patient record and in compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Coding guidelines, Arizona state law and other regulatory agencies; ensures accurate calculation of DRG and APCs to ensure appropriate reimbursement to the organization and provide for an accurate and complete statistical data base; performs provider coding audits and communicate results.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalency Diploma
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• 5+ years related experience
