Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC, CCS, or CCS-P) required.
  • Three years of related experience required.

Remote Opportunities

The Provider Coding and Compliance Specialist role is responsible for providing chart auditing, coding education, and overseeing coding compliance for all providers. The role includes assisting practice leaders, office staff, providers, and charge entry staff with resolving coding questions and problems.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC, CCS, or CCS-P) required.
  3. Experience: Three years of related experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding.
