The Provider Coding and Compliance Specialist is responsible for chart auditing, coding education, and overseeing coding compliance for all providers. The role includes assisting practice leaders, office staff, providers, and charge entry staff with resolving coding questions and problems.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC, CCS, or CCS-P) required.
  • Experience: At least three years of related experience required.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
  • Preferred Skills: Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding.
