What You’ll Do
The IT Senior Systems Engineer will provide world class support to the employees of Provenir striving to meet the highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.

Essential Job Functions

  1. SME for critical systems and be a champion for world-class employee experience.
  2. Advance and maintain the enterprise-wide MDM (Microsoft Intune and JAMF) and Single Sign-On (Okta) solutions including policy management, application and device lifecycle, inventory, and reporting.
  3. Participate in any Global Projects/Local Initiatives, and any adhoc request as assigned (e.g., participating & coordinating the ISO/IA/OHSAS/FA policies and procedures are appropriately documented and in place. Responsible for Disaster Recovery plans and execution.)
  4. Incident and Problem Management: Will provide expertise for complex incidents and problems, escalation point for L1 and L2, interface with vendor support and various partners to resolve incidents within SLAs.
  5. Maintain corporate networks, both in corporate offices as well as public cloud providers.
  6. Maintain VPN Solutions and endpoint protection software.
  7. Administer Productivity and Collaboration Tools including Slack, Zoom, Jira/Confluence, SSO and Google Workspace, AZURE Active Directory, AWS.
  8. Perform desktop and cloud-based security functions including security scans, managing backup/restores, and remediating security vulnerabilities.
  9. Track and escalate issues through the appropriate channels.
  10. Effectively communicate information with team members and employees.
  11. Proactively identify ways to avoid recurrence of issues by improving processes and recommending changes.
  12. Create content for KB articles, training, and company-wide communications.

Required Experience/Skills:

  1. Associates Degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent technical certifications.
  2. 7+ years providing customer support for desktop computer software and hardware.
  3. Expert ability to analyze and troubleshoot computer, network, and application issues.
  4. Expert knowledge of: Windows/MacOS, Linux, Microsoft Office, Client VPNs, Smartphones & Tablets, Microsoft Active Directory and Dell/Apple hardware repair.
  5. Expert knowledge of: AV/Security software and corporate backup/restore systems.
  6. Strong knowledge of: Corporate LAN/Wi-Fi Networks, Video Conferencing and Managed Print Services.
  7. Strong network administration skills, both on corporate and cloud platforms.
  8. Azure / AWS Certifications are an added advantage.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (must have the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels).
  10. Exceptional customer service/client-facing skills.
  11. Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
