Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 to support the Expendable Products department on-site at the El Segundo campus. You will build, test, and integrate prototype weapon systems for DoD programs, handling electromechanical components and rocket-powered effectors.

The role requires experience with wiring, harness fabrication, and lab testing, plus an active DoD SECRET clearance and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Work experience in assembly and integration of military and aerospace weapon systems.
• Fabrication and check-out of electrical cable and harness.
• Handling basic lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply).
• Active DoD SECRET clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Provide check-out, integration, assembly, and test support for prototype weapon systems.
• Adhere to safety practices for ESD hardware, high-power electronics, and clean-room processes.
• Support data collection for End-Item Data Packages and participate in demonstrations and live-fire testing.
