Job summary

International Motors USA is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues on medium- and heavy-duty prototype vehicles. You will use CAN analyzers, NEXIQ interfaces, and diagnostic software to identify root causes and support validation.

Responsibilities include interpreting wiring schematics, performing harness repairs, and documenting findings for engineers.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 2+ years of engineering support or automotive/diesel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical/electronic issues on medium- and heavy-duty prototype vehicles.
• Use diagnostic software and tools to identify root causes and support system validation.
• Interpret wiring schematics and engineering drawings to troubleshoot and develop solutions.
• Perform wiring harness repairs, modifications, fabrication, and rework for prototype builds.
