Job summary

Marks, part of the Propelis Group, is seeking a Prototype Technician to build prototypes for clients based on direction from engineering. This onsite role is located in East Butler, PA and involves assembling setups for brand activations and collaborating with engineering to validate form, fit, and function.

The role requires traveling as needed, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office applications. A fast-paced environment with overtime potential is expected.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and/or experience sufficient to perform key accountabilities.
• Ability to travel as necessary.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes per specifications using tools and equipment such as table saw, miter saw, grinder, drills, etc.
• Build, collate and pack complete setups for Brand activations, pilot or flagship stores.
• Redlines drawings for changes/corrections.
• Assess challenges and risks of product.
• Validate instruction sheets.
• Present ideas to engineering for alternate construction.
• Assist as required to transfer information to manufacturing.
• Install prototypes in the field as required.
• Additional duties as required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Builds prototypes per specifications using tools and equipment such as table saw, miter saw, grinder, drills etc.
• Build, collate and pack complete set ups for Brand activation, pilot or flagship stores

QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $50,000 USD - $60,000 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
