Sigma Design is seeking a Prototype Software Test Engineer II to develop and maintain Python-based test software for prototype validation and manufacturing support. You will troubleshoot Android and Linux devices, execute system bring-up, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems teams to ensure data integrity and product quality.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Linux, and Android debugging tools.
• Experience with Git and cross‑platform development across Windows, macOS, Linux.

Responsabilidades

• Own and maintain Python-based test software for prototype validation.
• Develop and implement program-level test plans with Engineering.
• Design and deploy automated tests for manufacturing and bring-up.
• Execute end-of-line testing and debugging of prototype devices.
• Troubleshoot Android and Linux devices using ADB, logcat, and related tools.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering to diagnose issues.
• Maintain test coverage and manage test data integrity.
• Provide lab support and ensure secure handling of data.
