Job summary

CompoSecure is seeking an R&D Technician to execute manufacturing operations on prototype and research samples, documenting equipment parameters and processes for repeatability. You will work under the Prototype Supervisor, coordinating with engineers and assisting researchers while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on fabrication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative prototype environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Experience with prototype manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing functions on research and prototype orders.
• Machine set-up, shutdown, and changeover.
• Document parameters and processes for repeatability.
• Ensure high quality and accuracy of settings.
• Coordinate with the prototype team and assist researchers.
• Maintain inventory and update project status tracking.
• Operate equipment safely and tolerate overtime as needed.
