LiquidXR in Los Angeles is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to build and run the prototype production line for our wearable devices. You will follow precise processes, maintain records, and work with engineers to push improvements on the line.

You will assemble, test, document, and troubleshoot early-stage hardware, support line bring-up, and help maintain equipment while ensuring safety and quality on a fast-paced startup team.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate/bachelor’s in electronics or manufacturing preferred.
• 3+ years as a manufacturing or engineering technician in prototype, pilot-line or low-volume production.
• Experience in consumer, industrial, defense, medical devices or wearables industries is a plus.
• Hands-on lamination, heat press, laser cutting, adhesive bonding or dispensing; fine assembly under a microscope.
• Soldering, rework, multimeter use, and handling sensitive components under ESD controls.
• Documentation in regulated environments (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and Google applications, shared drives, and lab/test instruments.
• Able to stand or sit long hours, lift up to 25 lb, and wear PPE.
• Nice-to-have: soft goods or sewing, cleanroom or controlled environments, 3D printing fixtures

Responsabilidades

• Build electronic circuits and panels following work instructions.
• Assemble products by integrating electronics into soft goods.
• Inspect and test panels; perform in-process checks and functional tests.
• Document build travelers, logs and test data accurately; report results.
• Set up and qualify equipment under engineering supervision.
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ and trial builds with engineers.
• Keep equipment running with daily startup/shutdown and maintenance.
• Meet prototype build demand; troubleshoot first-level issues.
• Manage materials: receive, inspect, store and track; flag shortages.
• Maintain lab safety: chemical handling, ESD, waste procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and soft goods engineers on prototypes.
• Carry out experiments; provide feedback on manufacturability and improve work instructions.
