Job summary

Acro Service Corporation seeks a capable Manufacturing Technician to fabricate and assemble mechanical components for larger assemblies. You will set up and test prototypes, analyze data, and suggest modifications to meet specifications.

The role includes assisting engineers with designs, performing calibration tasks, and handling adhesive materials with proper traceability. Candidates should read engineering drawings and work with hand tools in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow English instructions.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability and hand tool proficiency.
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and various shifts as manufacturing schedules require.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate or assemble mechanical components for larger assemblies.
• Set up and test prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions; analyze data and suggest modifications.
• Assist mechanical engineers in development and testing of mechanical/electromechanical designs.
• Perform manufacturing operations including setup, calibration, rework and quality testing of parts and assemblies.
• Use data collection programs to evaluate operating data and make on-line adjustments.
• Develop methods and procedures to control or modify manufacturing processes.
• Handle and manage fragile composite materials.
• Maintain traceability, notations, and storage of adhesive materials.
