Job summary
Milwaukee Tool, part of Techtronic Industries, is seeking an Engineering Operator II for the Rapid Innovation Center. You will create new prototypes, program CNC equipment, and collaborate with a driven team to meet engineering specs.
The role emphasizes accuracy, timely delivery, and data-driven decision making in a high-tech facility. The position requires hands-on machining, GD&T interpretation, and a mindset geared toward innovation while contributing to the company’s culture of rapid
Qualifications
- Journeyman machinist/tool & die certification, or minimum 5 years’ experience in a related field.
- Prior experience in setting up and programming CNC equipment is required.
- R&D mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong proficiency in math to calculate machine settings and adjustments.
Responsibilities
- Set up, program and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders and other equipment.
- Adjust machines to meet engineering specifications and tolerances.
- Choose tools and fixtures based on job requirements and specifications.
- Verify dimensions with hard gauging or vision systems.
- Plan machining operations from blueprints and GD&T.
