Job summary

Dynomax, Inc is looking for a Prototype Machinist to join their R&D-focused shop, tackling a mix of manual and CNC milling, lathe work, and surface grinding. The role emphasizes interpreting complex drawings, selecting tools, and making real-time adjustments for small-batch parts used in development projects.

The ideal candidate brings experience with vertical milling, CNC programming, and Heidenhain controls, plus familiarity with aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics, and a knack for fixture

Qualifications

• Vertical milling experience.
• Experience with surface grinder, manual lathe, CNC programming, and tool room equipment is a plus.
• Experience with aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints.
• Advanced fixture design capability.
• Heidenhain machine control experience is a plus.
• Able to program or edit G-code is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prototype Machinist Job Responsibilities:

Prototype Machinist Job Requirements:
