Job summary

Experis in Austin, TX is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the laboratory support team. You will assist in the development and testing of new products in electrical markets, coordinating with scientists for experiments and maintaining laboratory operations.

The role requires at least 1 year of lab experience and an associate's or two-year technical degree or higher (Bachelor's preferred); strong communication and the ability to prioritize across tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of laboratory experience.
• Associate’s or two-year technical degree or higher; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to take tasks from multiple team members, prioritize, and complete with minimal supervision.
• Experience with adhesives and tapes is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of new products in electrical markets through prototype testing and laboratory maintenance.
• Collaborate with scientists to perform experiments and testing procedures.
• Document observations and results in technical notebooks.
• Assist in data summarization and prepare final reports on test outcomes.
• Coordinate equipment calibrations to ensure precise data and perform routine lab duties such as shipping and sample storage.
