American Honda Motor Co., Inc. in Ohio seeks an engineer to contribute to prototype ATV/SxS development, applying new technologies to achieve targets and sustain global vehicle quality.

You will generate basic layouts with CAD, specify final model requirements, maintain documentation, and manage schedules and costs with minimal supervision. Travel 1–3 times monthly; some overseas travel is possible.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related engineering discipline.
• Engineering experience in Powersports or Automotive is preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Interacts effectively with staff/management.
• Able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
• Familiar with FTA, FMEA, tolerance stack-ups and CAE concepts.
• Analytical, problem solving, judgement, and prioritization abilities.
• Competent in drawing/layout techniques and project scheduling.

Mansioni

• Develop basic component and system layouts for ATV/SxS prototypes using CAD to meet targets.
• Create drawings and specs to define final global model specifications.
• Maintain technical, development, and administrative documentation.
• Adhere to cost targets and improve designs for cost reductions.
• Create and manage work schedules, coordinate resources, and monitor status.
• Communicate project status in meetings and development events.
