Job summary

FOX Factory is seeking an engineer-in-prototyping to support R&D efforts in our Georgia facility. You will perform builds, teardowns, and data collection, while communicating results to engineering teams to drive improvements in shock absorber prototypes.

Requirements include HS diploma or technical AA, 3+ years in automotive shock prototyping, ability to use machine tools, and willingness to travel. We offer competitive compensation and a broad benefits package including medical, dental, vision

Qualifications

• HS diploma or AA from a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of automotive shock absorber prototyping or similar.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with data acquisition/analysis and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform builds and teardowns and prepare reports to support R&D testing.
• Collect, record, summarize and maintain data and communicate findings to engineering.
• Maintain shop organization and cleanliness.
• Lead laboratory testing as assigned.
• Organize and support offsite field testing with engineering.
• Follow current processes and drive changes to increase efficiency.
• Contribute to R&D through builds and tuning efforts.
• Work safely in accordance with Fox policies.
