Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking an Engineering Technician (Prototype Specialist) in Etters, PA to support HSIO connector and OverPass product development, customer prototypes, test samples, fixtures, and data collection.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certificate; or 3–6 months related experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Experience utilizing 3D printers to create prototype parts and fixtures.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); MiniTab is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Create prototype parts using machining and 3D printing equipment.
• Operate, maintain, and write/edit G-code/CAM for CNC equipment.
• Use/maintain 3D printers to produce prototype parts and fixtures.
• Conduct testing, record data, and present results.
