Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and 3D printing for prototype fabrication and test fixtures.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and using measurement tools.
• SolidWorks experience and ability to edit CAD models for prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Create prototype parts using machining and 3D printing equipment to support development and samples.
• Operate, maintain, and write/edit code for CNC equipment (Tormach) to fabricate/modify parts and tooling.
• Operate and maintain 3D printers for prototype parts, fixtures, and mock-ups.
• Use machine shop tools (mills, lathes, drills, taps) to fabricate or modify parts.
• Coordinate and build mock-ups to facilitate product designs and testing.
• Prepare test reports and presentations using MS Office; conduct testing and record data.
• Prepare high-speed cables for testing and ensure data accuracy and clear presentation of results.
