Job summary

You will perform SMT, harness and cable builds, review designs, and contribute to rapid learning cycles to improve processes and product quality.

This role involves collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines and maintaining adherence to customer specifications in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant electronics experience.
• Hands-on electronics troubleshooting in a lab setting.
• Ability to interpret sketches, schematics, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Experience with assembly and test in a rapid development environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering to communicate issues, draft procedures, and review designs to meet deadlines.
• Work in a dynamic, rapid development laboratory.
• Lead assembly tasks including SMT using pick-and-place and cable builds with tight tolerances.
• Interpret moderately complex drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Participate in process improvements and provide feedback on drawings, BOMs and ECNs.
• Verify hardware kits.
• Perform SMT, through-hole, and fine-pitch hand soldering.
