Job summary

Yoh Services LLC is looking for an Intermediate Semiconductor Manufacturing Assembler for an 18-month contract-to-hire in Rochester, New York. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electronics and experience with hand tools and soldering. Responsibilities include assembling electromechanical prototype products and collaborating with engineers for best practices. The position offers competitive pay of $33 to $38 per hour along with comprehensive benefits for qualifying employees.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronics and/or electromechanical work experience.
• Experience with various hand tools and soldering is required.
• Familiarity with production and product lean principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow verbal and written process steps for assembling prototype product.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to develop assembly practices.
• Present proposals for assembly process changes that reduce costs and time.
