Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking an experienced Assembly and Integration Technician to build production and prototype electronic assemblies, including chassis, racks, servers, SCBs, and I/O panels, and to assemble wires per specifications.

The role will involve soldering, wiring, and cable harness work, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment onsite at Kratos facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience soldering wires and/or printed circuit boards
• Experience assembling chassis including experience with using torque tools and Loctite
• Ability to work with small parts (0402) and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus or track of material
• Experience with building cable harnesses and wire routing

Responsibilities

• Build production and prototype electronic assemblies including, but not limited to: Chassis, Racks, Servers, Signal Conditioning Boards (SCBs) and Input/Output (I/O) panels.
• Complete RMA (Return Material Authorization) assembly and repair work to support Customer Service
• Perform regular soldering and reworking of previously assembled products as required; sometimes extensive work required in this area.
• Assemble and label wires and wire harnesses per cable specifications.
• Assist in material handling as received from Inventory or Direct from Suppliers and as supplied to the production area.
