Job summary

Infleqtion, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist in Boulder, CO to support rapid prototype development and fixture fabrication.

The role splits duties between prototype parts and precision fixturing, aligned with the needs of engineering and development programs, aiming to improve shop turnaround time and documentation quality. Under the Master Machinist, you will set up, operate, and maintain a broad range of CNC and manual equipment, develop CNC programming ideas, and ensure inspection-ready

Qualifications

2-3 years of hands-on machining experience in prototype or lab environments.
Ability to read drawings, tolerances, and basic GD&T.
Experience setting up and operating 3-axis CNC mills and common manual equipment.
Experience producing parts to tight tolerances (±0.0005 inch).
Capable of documenting setups, inspections, and processes for repeatability.

Responsibilities

Fabricate prototype components and precision fixtures from drawings and verbal requirements.
Set up and operate three- and four-axis CNC machines, manual mills, lathes, grinders, 3D printers, laser cutters, and engravers.
Create and modify simple CNC programs; select tooling and workholding; assist with complex programming.
Inspect parts in-process and final using gauges, CMMs, profilometers, and optical metrology tools.
Maintain clean, safe work area and document processes for repeatability.
