Lancesoft is seeking a Prototype Build Engineer for an on-site role in Auburn Hills, MI. The position focuses on managing engine and battery prototype builds, developing build plans, and creating detailed build books with BOMs and assembly instructions.

The role requires collaboration across multiple teams, ensuring deliverables while addressing build quality, manufacturing processes, and timing. Typical hours are 6:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with personnel across multiple functions.
• Technical knowledge of engine and/or battery components and systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter with proactive, motivated approach and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage engine and battery prototype build activities and develop build plans.
• Create comprehensive build books with BOM, torque specs, and assembly instructions.
• Ensure correct parts are stocked and available for builds; manage BOM.
• Coordinate post-build component evaluations with suppliers.
• Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to meet deliverables.
