Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking an Electrical Technician for prototype harness fabrication in Auburn Hills, MI. You will build, modify, and route harnesses, interpret schematics, and work on CAN/LIN wiring within automotive environments.

Ideal candidate has hands-on experience in automotive tech, uses DMMs and crimpers, and can work onsite in a team, supporting engineers during DAQ test bench bring-up.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical technician experience in automotive or aerospace.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and connection matrices.
• Experience with automotive harness routing and testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, splice, re-work, and route prototype harnesses per change requests.
• Perform precision crimping, depinning, soldering on automotive connectors.
• Read schematics and map electrical circuit paths accurately.
• Use DMMs and test gear to verify continuity and diagnose faults.
• Support DAQ test bench bring-up and sensor integration.
• Maintain ESD safety and secure cable management on site.
