Job summary

Belcan seeks an Automotive Mechanic II/III in Spartanburg, SC to perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance in a prototype environment. You will work on a range of electrical and mechanical systems and collaborate with customers and team members.

The role requires at least 4 years of mechanic experience, strong electrical trouble-shooting skills, and the ability to read and follow detailed procedures. Overtime and weekend work may be required; tools with rolling toolbox are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience as a Mechanic.
• Electrical systems knowledge and troubleshooting ability are required.
• Ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle functional condition by following repair orders and instructions.
• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts as needed.
• Read, interpret, and follow service procedures.
• Maintain vehicle records of service and repair orders.
• Keep shop equipment operational and perform preventive maintenance.
• Participate in daily shop organization and cleaning.
