Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Michigan seeks a Prototype Automotive Assembler to build entire prototype vehicles from the ground up, across multiple systems. You will read engineering drawings, use a wide range of hand and power tools, and assemble parts and sub-assemblies to exact specifications.

You will collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot fitment and refine builds as designs evolve, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

Prototype Automotive AssemblerPay: $18–$21/hour, based on experienceShifts available: 1st and 2nd shift1st shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday (occasionally until 3:30 PM)2nd shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–FridayAbout the roleThis isn't a role where you bolt on the same part all day. As a Prototype Automotive Assembler, you'll work on the entire vehicle — from the ground up and end to end — helping bring brand-new, one-of-a-kind builds to life. You'll touch nearly every system on the vehicle, learn how the whole thing comes together, and see your work turn into real, physical prototypes that push the industry forward.We build for some of the world's most demanding programs, and prototype assembly is where those ideas become reality.
