Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to lead and execute complex manufacturing projects from concept through final implementation in prototyping and low-volume environments across commercial, aerospace, and defense systems.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Suppliers to deliver hardware solutions, manage vendor development, and finalize delivery while maintaining schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years managing projects in mechanical manufacturing environments.
• Ability to obtain DoW clearance (Secret/TS/TS-SCI as required).
• Experience with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience estimating labor and materials for manufacturing projects.
• Ability to read/interpret mechanical drawings and instructions.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• AS9100 knowledge and project-management software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and execute complex manufacturing projects from concept to final implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Suppliers.
• Develop hardware solutions for commercial, aerospace, and defense uses.
• Manage project execution including customer interface, estimating, IMS, kickoff, outside vendors, and delivery.
• Create Bills of Materials from drawings or CAD models.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
