Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, Alabama seeks an experienced Chief Engineer/Chief Architect to lead the Technology Development Engineering Divisions.

The role requires outstanding leadership, a strong technical background, and a track record of driving process rigor in engineering, quality, safety, risk management, and top technical issues. The Chief will guide the design and delivery of mechanical, electrical, optical hardware and AI/ML software solutions, shape technical roadmaps,

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engineering processes to ensure standards compliance.
Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver complex hardware and AI/ML software solutions.
Coordinate with directors and managers to develop technical roadmaps and strategies.
Drive safety, quality, and environmental standards across the unit.
Identify and mitigate risks, oversee Change Boards, and report to Government customers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve top technical issues and drive continuous improvement.
