Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Medical Dosimetrist to initiate and manage external beam proton treatment planning under the supervision of Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists. The candidate will support training and compliance efforts while contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Experience: Less than 1 year.
• Direct dosimetry experience and CMD board-eligible/certified required.
• For recent dosimetry graduates, CMD certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
• RTT experience from an accredited radiation therapy technology program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and oversee the treatment planning process for external beam proton therapy plans.
• Assist in special procedures and brachytherapy treatment planning as needed.
• Provide training to dosimetrists, physicists, radiation oncologists and affiliate trainees in dosimetry.
• Support and adhere to Baptist Health Safety and Compliance program (OSHA, HIPAA, Code of Ethics).
