Job summary

Sentar is seeking a Protocol Analyst 3 in Ft. Meade to analyze RF signals, determine structure, and model behavior. The role requires expertise in COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, or PROFORMA, with preference for more than one area.

You will contribute to security and intelligence analyses within a collaborative team. Candidates should have substantial experience in signals/ waveform analysis, network troubleshooting, and traffic characterizations as part of a defense-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in signals analysis, waveform analysis, network troubleshooting, network traffic characterizations, and/or network security analysis.
• Doctoral Degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s Degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Associates degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
• HS diploma or GED with 12 years of experience will be considered for those who have completed military training courses 451 or 452 or MCSAP.
• Bachelor’s Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in RF signals analysis and understanding signal characteristics to determine signal structure and parameters.
• Define parameters and model signal behavior; work with COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, or PROFORMA (more than 1 preferred).
• Decode and characterize signals to support system and security analyses.
• Support network troubleshooting, traffic characterizations and security analyses as part of the team.
