You will support proteomics‑based translational research, developing, optimizing, and evaluating sample prep workflows across blood and tissue samples to boost robustness and throughput.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Proteomics, or a related scientific field and enrolled at an accredited university during the internship period.
• Candidates must have completed at least one year of graduate study by Summer 2027.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with biological samples and fundamental techniques such as accurate pipetting, buffer preparation, centrifugation, and sample handling.
• Ability to plan and execute experiments with appropriate guidance, maintain organized records, and work safely in a laboratory environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and evaluate proteomics sample preparation workflows for biological samples.
• Assess and compare sample preparation approaches to improve analytical performance and throughput.
• Explore strategies to enable robust proteomic analysis from challenging or limited-volume samples.
• Develop and adapt workflows for automation platforms such as the Agilent AssayMAP Bravo.
• Collaborate with cross-functional scientists to design experiments, analyze results, and interpret findings.
• Perform protein extraction, digestion, peptide cleanup, and other proteomics prep procedures.
• Analyze experimental data and summarize results using software and computational tools.
• Maintain clear experimental records, troubleshoot challenges, and communicate progress and results.
• Summarize the project in a final presentation/poster with reproducible workflow.
