Job summary

Eurofins Professional Scientific Services is seeking an LC-MS/MS and Proteomics Analytical Scientist in Boston. The role focuses on quantifying proteins and analytes in biological matrices using LC-MS/MS, with automated high-throughput sample processing and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

You will troubleshoot, optimize assays, and document data in ELNs while adhering to SOPs and safety standards in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 1+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with HPLC and LC-MS/MS workflows.
• Familiarity with proteomics workflows and automated liquid-handling systems.
• Experience with quantitative proteomics workflows including sample prep and peptide analysis.
• Strong documentation, time-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Quantify proteins and analytes in biological matrices using LC-MS/MS.
• Automate high-throughput sample processing with liquid-handling systems.
• Support discovery, LNP formulation, analytical development, CMC, pharmacology and bioanalytical goals.
• Troubleshoot and optimize assays and workflows with minimal supervision.
• Document experiments and analyses in ELNs; convey findings in reports and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and documentation standards.
• Stay current with proteomics and mass spectrometry literature and advances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
