LatchBio in San Francisco is seeking a Bioinformatics Engineer to advance proteomics data analysis. You will join a multidisciplinary team of software engineers and biologists, contributing to data pipelines that teach agents to reason over complex proteomics outputs.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with proteomics, and proficiency in Python or R, with flexible schedules and on-site options at our SF waterfront office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with proteomics or proteomics data.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and biologists to build proteomics datasets.
• Develop end-to-end data analysis workflows from instrument outputs to decisions.
• Advance QC to analysis for proteomic data.
• Work on NGS-based proteomics and LC-MS workflows.
• Support protein sequencing and single-molecule proteomics projects.
• Contribute to clinical interpretation of proteomics data.
