This high-visibility role focuses on practical, strategic supplier management and cross-functional collaboration with operations and planning teams. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in strategic sourcing within food manufacturing, deep protein markets knowledge, and experience managing multiple suppliers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience within food manufacturing or food ingredients.
• Protein sourcing/procurement background required.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers/vendors.
• Strong understanding of protein commodity markets.
• Experience with RFPs/RFQs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across protein categories.
• Manage supplier relationships and vendor performance.
• Support supplier optimization and sourcing initiatives.
• Conduct RFP/RFQ processes and negotiations.
• Monitor commodity markets, feedstock impacts, and industry trends.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and planning teams.
