Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager onsite in Cincinnati to drive protein category strategies and supplier optimization. The role requires deep protein sourcing experience and hands-on procurement leadership across beef, pork, poultry, and other proteins.

The candidate will manage supplier relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and navigate commodity markets to align with production planning and growth goals. Relocation is available for the right person.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience within food manufacturing or ingredients.
• Protein sourcing/procurement background required.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers/vendors.
• Strong understanding of protein commodity markets.
• Experience with RFPs/RFQs.

Strategic Sourcing Manager

We are partnering with a growing food manufacturing organization seeking a Commodity Manager with strong protein sourcing expertise to support strategic procurement initiatives across key protein categories. This is a high-visibility opportunity for someone who understands protein commodity markets, supplier strategy, and procurement within food manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will bring experience sourcing categories such as Beef, Pork, Poultry and other fresh proteins. This Manager needs to be practical, strategic, and hands-on with supplier management and protein procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across protein categories
• Manage supplier relationships and vendor performance
• Support supplier optimization and sourcing initiatives
