Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our protein conversion facility. You will lead a team including maintenance supervisor, parts room attendant, and wastewater supervisor, directing capital projects and driving continuous improvement within budget constraints.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent), 5–10 years of maintenance/engineering experience in protein harvest environments, and strong leadership with a track record of

• 5–10 years of maintenance and engineering experience in a fresh protein harvest facility.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages a team of maintenance personnel and oversees capital expenditures and projects within budget.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, FSIS, and EPA regulations across the facility.
• Collaborates with senior management, contractors, and vendors on projects and improvements.
• Proposes and implements new equipment to automate processes and improve production efficiency.
