Job summary

CSG Talent is partnering with a leading protein manufacturer to identify an experienced Engineering Manager who will lead engineering, maintenance and reliability activities across manufacturing operations. The role demands a proactive, hands‑on engineering leader who drives preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and strong team development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering or maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in protein/food manufacturing is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance and reliability engineering.
• Experience managing capital projects and engineering budgets.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance planning systems.
• Knowledge of LOTO, machine guarding and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance activities across the facility to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Identify recurring failures and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coach and develop maintenance staff and engineering teams.
• Prioritize maintenance with Production leadership to minimize disruption.
• Oversee projects, installations, upgrades and CAPEX from planning to commissioning.
• Manage engineering and maintenance budgets and spare parts planning.
• Drive OEE improvement and reliability initiatives across processing, packaging, utilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, sanitation and regulatory requirements.
• Promote safe working practices, LOTO and contractor safety.
