Job summary

Lccpa is seeking County Caseworkers to support children, youth and families across General Protective Services, Child Protective Services, CPS Investigations, Adoption, and Intake & Assessment units. You will manage cases to promote health, safety and well-being of the child in the family.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, developing service plans with family input, arranging housing, budgeting, child care and parenting supports, scheduling interviews and providing counseling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One year of experience as County Caseworker 1 or equivalent experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to children, youth and families.
• Assess presenting problems, strengths and needs of families.
• Develop written service plans for each family member with input from the family.
• Link families to services and resources, with prompt authorization and referrals.
• Prepare social studies, reports and testify in court under supervision.
