New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) is seeking Case Workers for Protective Services with responsibilities across Investigations, Permanency and Licensing & Support. The role involves lead duties, after-hours responses, and collaborating with families and community partners to ensure child safety and permanency.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience, with a valid driver's license and willingness to work

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in social work, education, counseling, psychology, sociology, criminal justice or family studies from an accredited college/university.
• Two (2) years of any combination of experience including working with communities on health or social service related matters, social work/case management experience, behavioral health, and/or health care.

Mansioni

• Initiate CPS investigations and conduct case management of CPS investigations and related cases.
• Conduct investigations using safety assessment tools and interviews; inform families of decisions and rights.
• Provide permanency planning services and ongoing case activities to achieve safety and well-being for children.
• License foster homes and provide pre- and post-placement services in accordance with agency practice.
