Job summary

U.S. Secret Service in Washington, DC is recruiting Uniformed Division Officers to safeguard the White House complex, the Vice President’s residence, and other designated facilities, and to provide security for foreign missions and embassies.

This role requires relocation to Washington, DC. Officers travel in support of presidential and foreign heads of state, enforce protective duties under federal law, and undergo intensive training at FLETC and the James J.

Qualifications

• Must have US citizenship and be able to work without sponsorship.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 20 years old at application.
• Must pass drug test and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the White House complex, the Vice President’s residence, and other designated facilities.
• Provide security for foreign missions and embassies.
• Travel in support of the President, Vice President, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
• Enforce mandated protective responsibilities under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
