Job summary

Itape seeks a Manufacturing Manager for Protective Packaging. You will oversee daily plant operations, lead safety, quality and productivity initiatives, and drive continuous improvement within the protective packaging division.

Preferred candidates hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in a maintenance supervision/management role. Strong communication and the ability to manage multiple projects in a busy environment are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or other technical discipline preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in a maintenance supervisor or manager role.
• Proficient use of computer based skills including Microsoft Office Suite and web based technologies.
• Demonstrated manufacturing project management and continuous improvement skills (Lean Six Sigma and IPS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to manage heavy workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations in plants within the protective packaging division.
• Leads safety, quality and productivity initiatives to achieve goals.
• Develops manufacturing plans to improve service, quality and reduce waste.
• Implements IPS performance metrics and pursues certification goals.
• Drives continuous improvement projects and manages resources and budgets.
