Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology or related field.
• Knowledge of standards, codes and regulations relevant to the area.
• Familiarity with equipment, materials, systems and processes used.
• Able to assist others with routine problems and use basic computer skills.
• Leadership abilities and willingness to guide peers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and acceptance testing of protection, control, and measurement devices.
• Assist in installation, maintenance, and operation of power line carriers and SCADA systems.
• Perform switching under direct supervision as directed.
• Maintain equipment and records to support safe, efficient work across the system.
• Prepare reports and drawings and assist peers as needed.
• Test and calibrate protection and control devices on schedule.
• Assist diagnosis and corrective actions for equipment issues.
• Operate a computer to test, calibrate, and retrieve data from devices.
