Qualus offers a full-time Engineer I position as part of the 2027 Engineering Boot Camp, combining classroom instruction with hands-on substation projects. Participants will gain exposure to protection and control engineering, and learn through site visits and vendor interactions.

Starting July 2027, this program leads to a full-time role with Qualus, with a dedicated track in Protection & Control or related power engineering disciplines and mentorship from experienced engineers.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is a plus.
• Experience with medium to high voltage electrical systems is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for technical discussions.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with Substation Design Engineers and Relay Settings Engineers.
• Develop complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communication systems.
• Support project teams to meet quality and project management goals.
• Meet all project deadlines and follow processes to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date technical skills related to substation design and protection schematics.
• Prepare drawings and design packages using CAD/drafting skills.
• Assist procurement, construction, and operations with design documentation.
