Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics in Springfield, IL is hiring an ABC-Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) for our outpatient clinic serving Central Illinois. You will manage patient care from evaluation through long-term follow-up, with clinical autonomy and a focus on expanding access to high-quality prosthetic and orthotic care.

We emphasize collaboration with physicians, therapists and care teams, ongoing professional development, and a strong patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Current ABC certification as a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO).
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain required state licensure.
• Strong knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy and prosthetic/orthotic components.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans.
• Design, fit, align, adjust and troubleshoot devices for comfort and function.
• Perform gait analysis and functional assessments during treatment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on device use and rehab goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and case managers.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation for continuity of care and reimbursement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners in the Springfield region.
• Deliver care per ABC standards, state regulations and payer requirements.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a collaborative clinic environment.
