Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Middletown, Ohio, invites you to join our prosthetic and orthotic care team. As a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist, you will design, fabricate and fit devices, collaborate with physicians, and empower patients to regain mobility.

With a long history of clinical excellence, we offer comprehensive training, back-office support, relocation assistance, tuition reimbursement, and a network of nearly 1,600 providers to support your growth. Travel up to 30 miles may be required.

Qualifications

• Current ABC/BOC certification or board-eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• Baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians in evaluating patient needs for prosthetic/orthotic services.
• Design, fabricate and fit prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
• Take measurements, castings, alignments and ensure proper fit and function.
• Provide patient instructions and follow-up care.
• Meet with physicians and staff to review services and referrals.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics
