Hanger, Inc. operates O&P clinics and provides advanced orthotic and prosthetic care. The Omaha-based clinic offers opportunities to work with both adult and pediatric patients within Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics by ABC or BOC.
• Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics/orthotics or equivalent with ABC board-eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain state licensure.
• Open to candidates with 5+ years of experience in prosthetic/orthotic services if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate need for prosthetic or orthotic services and discuss options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic and/or orthotic devices and select materials.
• Perform fitting, including static and dynamic alignments, and ensure proper function.
• Provide follow-up with patients and physicians and in-service training to staff.
• Meet with physicians and referral sources to review capabilities and grow referrals.
