Hanger is seeking an Assembly Technician (Molding Technician) in Salt Lake City to operate molding equipment and produce plastic components for upper-extremity prosthetic devices. This hands-on role suits someone who takes pride in quality and wants to make a meaningful impact.

You will follow work instructions, load materials, inspect parts, and support continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, technical documentation, and safety procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to learn new skills and participate in cross-training opportunities.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, and cordless drills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate molding equipment and monitor production to manufacture plastic components.
• Follow established work instructions and production schedules.
• Load materials and remove completed parts from molding equipment.
• Inspect molded components and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Cross-train in other manufacturing processes and support continuous improvement.
