Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Salt Lake City seeks an Assembly / Soldering Technician to build cable and circuit board assemblies for upper extremity medical products. You will work from manufacturing procedures, BOMs, and drawings to ensure quality components for robotic prosthetic devices.

The role emphasizes soldering expertise, reading and interpreting technical docs, and a commitment to safe, efficient production processes in a dynamic medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Experience using soldering equipment and small hand tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 considered an asset.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train into high-complexity areas.
• Must have or be eligible for a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assembles products using manufacturing procedures, drawings, and BOMs.
• Interprets wiring diagrams and schematics per instructions.
• Ensures quality standards are met through inspections and tests.
• Identifies and handles defective items per quality procedures.
• Resolves manufacturing problems by communicating with peers or supervisor.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment following company standards.
• Uses hand tools, fixtures, ovens, and light-duty equipment.
