Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a Prosthetic Technician in Irving, TX to support fabrication, repair, and maintenance of custom upper-extremity prosthetic devices. This hands-on role suits individuals who use hand and power tools, machinery, and precise fabrication techniques while working independently within a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with fabrication, machining, manufacturing, or lab-based work.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and finish custom upper-extremity prosthetic devices.
• Create casts and impressions under clinical staff guidance.
• Perform laminations, cosmetic finishing, and detailed fabrication work.
• Repair, modify, and adjust ill-fitting or malfunctioning devices.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, equipment, and work areas.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party manufacturers to support production needs.
• Collaborate with prosthetists and clinical staff to provide patient care.
