Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a Program Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of the Prostate Health Mobile Van, coordinating scheduling, staffing, and vendor partnerships to deliver education, screening, and early detection services in the community.

Reporting to the VP of Community Engagement, this role collaborates across departments to optimize logistics, tracking, and community outreach, while ensuring a high-quality patient experience and alignment with health equity goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written English communication; editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.
• Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the Prostate Health Mobile Van program, managing scheduling and staffing needs.
• Partners with the Community Engagement Office to identify optimal locations and represent the program at events.
• Collaborates with Urology Department and van staff to ensure positive patient experience.
• Maintains the community calendar using Drupal and coordinates marketing collateral with the Felix agency.
• Tracks program metrics (screenings, demographics, referrals) and prepares reports for leadership and funders.
• Serves as primary liaison with Brewster Ambulance Services for calendar and driver scheduling.
• Manages vendor relationships, supplies, and equipment maintenance for the mobile unit.
• Coordinates with community partners and city officials to secure permits and logistics.
• Identifies opportunities for program improvement based on data and community feedback.
